Laboratory: Breathing Spaces
Breathing Spaces introduces participants to an interdisciplinary exploration of breathwork and artistic expression as an experimental practice of drawing and performance.
Breathing, as both a biological necessity, conscious practice, and creative space, becomes an act of collective resistance. Drawing, as an expression of conscious breathing and body awareness, serves as a foundation for individual and collective well-being.
Through conscious breathwork practices, participants engage in drawing the air and breathing rhythms—an immersion where gesture and body transcribe breathing into visual form.
Participants explore breath as material and concept, learning to translate internal respiratory rhythms into poetic visual and gestural language:
conscious guided breathwork practices
drawing and artistic expression of breath through gesture
translation of breath rhythms into visual marks and traces
exploration of collective breathing as shared experience
creation of intimate and collective landscape cartographies through breath and movement
